Sinusoids also known as a sine wave is the graph of the sine function in trigonometry.
Sinusoidal Function:
y= A sin (B(x-C)) + D
- A sinusoid is the name given to any curve that can be written y= A sin (B(x-C)) + D
Sinusoidal Function:
y= A sin (B(x-C)) + D
- /A| = amplitude
- B = cycles from 0 to 2 (pi)
- period = 2 (pi) / B
- D = vertical shift (or displacement)
- C = horizontal shift (sometimes called "phase shift" when B = 1)
